My Story

My name is Brett Snow and I started playing tennis “late in life” when my wife and I became empty nesters. I took lessons and learned how to hit forehands and backhands but my pros seldom taught strategies for beginners.

I won some and I lost some and I took notes along the way as I learned what worked and what didn’t. I shared my experiences with others and ultimately got the idea to write this blog to help players use these lessons learned to advance in their tennis journey.

Advancing Tennis is for the average, recreational tennis player who wants to learn how they can win more matches and move up the USTA NTRP rankings.

Read more about my journey and, hopefully, how I can help with yours.
